So...to get through...we let our kids dress up in "nice" costumes and we drive to another neighborhood. One that has pumpkins and sweet decorations lining the streets.
Our life has changed...we are sensitive to stuff that others are not. So we have to adapt to get through.
It ended up being a really fun evening. Better than I had expected. Melts my heart to see these little ones having fun and being a "family". They actually like being with each other.
Today is also a tough day. 6 years ago today we received Nate's heart defect diagnosis.
Life was SO different 6 years and 1 day ago. Funny how dates can trigger emotional stuff.

((HUGS)) Glad you were able to go to the next town and have a nice time. We had 67 kids at the house and they were all so cute and adorable. Nothing creepy at all. Take care and God Bless.
